["YOU CAN DO IT"!!!] I Quit Smoking! All you have to do is make your mind up, and stick with it. With DETERMINATION!, "I QUIT COLD TURKEY" at the young age of 22 & 355 days old. I decided that my health was more important than smoking, and decided that I was going to quit smoking before my 23rd. Birthday. "I MUST REMIND YOU, THAT I WAS IN THE NAVY AT THE TIME!" I came back to the Ship on Sunday Night November 1, 1964, and had 2 Cigarette's left in the pack. I smoked 1, went and took my shower, came back into the Birthing Compartment, lit up that "LAST CIGARETTE" that I had, and finished smoking it, just before 8:00 PM LIGHTS OUT, and said to myself "THIS IS IT!!!" And that was it. I had just purchased a new can of Cherry Blend Tobacco, and a Pipe, and the Cigars to pass out, because I had just made rate. I passed out cigars, took them from others, and in the end boxed them all up, along with the can of tobacco, and pipe, and sent everything home to my dad who smoked.
And (I "HAVE NEVER SMOKED AGAIN SINCE THAT NIGHT!!!")
