i have been approved for free medecial service,s ,here in winchester,va..so they pay for all my doctor visit,s includeing pulmanary doc. and my heart doc.and any referrals like x-rays,pulmanary rehab..ect…and all my med,s..thank god..because i checked, and the price for advair is 300.00 a month, not counting all the other med,s..but you can go to the people that make the drug.just go online and see who mekes it,and then call the company, most of the time people are willing to help you,but i know for me,you have to swallow your pride and ask for it..
M.E. Icouldn't afford add'l insurance, I never thought this state would drop MEDICAID! The true irritant is that as the Gov. her action was unilateral, no one could stop her. To think, when I was working I served as her protection as she met with the Pres. I should of, never mind
I went to the site. I take 19 different meds p/mo. Their approved list covered only 3 of my meds, the total cost to me monthly for those three, is $15.00, the cheapest I get. None of my $50, $140, $45, etc. Absolutely no benefit to me. Whoopie Chit!
Google up places that help people with medications, it depends on different factors like if you have medicaid, or not, no insurance. I went into several of them the other day. It would say just add your medication to the list, and it would show if you could get help with them.
I have Cigna, too but I have to pay the first $325 before the insurance really kicks in. I have COPD and trying to find out where I can get help with my breathing meds. Even after I pay the first $325 my breathing meds are high. Plus all the other meds I have to take.
I want to thank you so very much for sharing this information! My health is pretty bad all of a sudden and haven't been able to take good many of my meds due to high cost. I had stroke and heart attack at same time along with bad COPD and extremely high blood pressure. This has uplifted my spirits greatly. Maybe there is hope!! Thanks again
Even if you have insurance sites like this may be of value for covering over-the-counter drugs. You can get an awful surprise if a drug is not covered by your policy. It is good to have a supplementary coverage like this that states that it will cover over-the-counter. You just can't get enough help with things like this.
Thanks for the links, I'm checking them out right now. I haven't had any Advair for 2 years now for my COPD. I haven't had a job and barely have enough breath to walk down the hall some days or even speak.
Just wanted to say thank you once again, I am in the process of waiting for relpies from the companies and isnt it something the state of NJ is just awful with things for people, I only hope that all states are not the same…I will keep you posted on what they say and or any reply and thanks once again for the information you have supplied, I hope this will help me and others as well.
Well I got a reply back and I do not fit the age group here in NJ, but would like to say thank you so much for the information and I will be checking to see if anything else new should come up… Thank you again for such a wonderful and informative site here.
